Your payment is held when you match. The creator can see it is there, which is why they film — but they cannot touch it.
The money only moves once you have seen the content and approved it. One round of changes is included before that.
If the creator does not deliver, the deal closes and your money comes back. You are never out of pocket for work you did not receive.
Usage rights are recorded against every deal, so what you may do with the content is written down rather than assumed.
Every creator has a profile, linked social accounts and a history on the platform. You see all of it before you choose.
Any creator under 18 cannot be matched until a parent or guardian has given written consent. That protects them, and it protects you.
